I recently pseudo-retired, but still working on, in my 44th year as an RN. Includes 17 years in ICU, 15 years in psych, including 3 years @ Places for People, taught 4 years @ Forest Park c. College..psychiatric nursing, the last 4 years were rehab with paras,quads, amputees, spinal cord surgeries, etc. I am blessed with 3 beautiful adult children, 5 grandchildren; Will, 33, Research assistant, Todd Eric, 29, works for a pharmaceutical co, Samantha will be a senior this year, Cianan is in the 9th grade, our resident genius, & Mickey Eliot is the cutest 6 year old ever!!!
Ive been swimming 25 laps 2-3 days a week for awhile now, walk my dogs, Glenda, daily, go to happy hours @ Failonis, & swing dance on tues & fridays. I recently published my 1st children's book, " Movin' Out!" 4 more to publish in the series.. I am active in my church, St. Andrew United,Methodist church, Florissant. Ive still got albums & about 100 45's. I got over my shyness several years,ago. Planning on writing " How To Come Out of Your Shell" soon.

School Story

I was frequently visiting the principle's office , but usually a case of mistaken identity. I was suspended for 3 days for a minor stabbing incident( it was only a butterknife!) In the cafeteria. I loved the social aspects of school. I also flunked gym as a senior because I kept skipping to talk to my friends in all 3 lunch periods!....obviously NOT my fault! I was in the Pep Club, attended the turkey day games, & participated actively in Senior Skip Day. I enjoyed 7th hour the week after.

Christine-HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I always remember the happy times we had playing on our street and frequently at your house as kids. Making up games, hide N seek, red rover-the times back then seemed like they would never end. Glad you have a great life and are truly enjoying retirement.
